With a flexible concept of what we wanted to accomplish, we cast for personality and were able to allow the shoot to evolve with the model’s natural personality and bohemian vibe.

Concept, art direction and photography for a Banana Republic spotlight on the lead denim designer and how she customizes her denim, August ‘18.

is a personal photography project shot in collaboration with stylist Sharon Maloney and hair & makeup artist TokyoSF.  Shot in Piedmont, CA, I really wanted the edit and design of the project to evoke the feeling of the location by using bits & pieces of the location vibe.

is a personal photography project shot in collaboration with stylist-turned-designer, Mai-Lei Pecorari. Her clothing line, KIN-TSUGI goods, is a line of vintage and contemporary clothing that has been hand-chosen and re-worked to be given a new life. 

In the spirit of the original Kintsugi art form, gold thread and paint find itself woven throughout each piece. In each shoot, we focused on her original paintwork and the originality of each piece, especially showing through when using layered paint elements over the original image.
