The concept of The Bags collection was inspired by the introduction of marine plastics as an added recycled material being utilized in the making of bags. Playing on the earthly elements of water, land and sky, we chose to shoot in Malibu where we could play on the notion of the collection being reincarnated from the ocean, recycling marine plastics to create something fashionable and covetable.
Images and videos were used across all digital platforms, social, paid, retail, PR, print and OOO.

This piece was concepted to follow the transformation of the Rothy’s bag from raw material to finished product, taking us on a journey of transforming recycled marine plastic to create the Handbag. The bag is the main character and our vehicle through the factory. Along the way the collaboration, the creativity and the craftsmanship of the Rothy’s team is highlighted as important pieces of the story that went into creating this collection.
